Torpedo Premature Detonation

I recently reset win 11, due to probs with another software. Never been able to use JSGME since upgrading. But SH4 works anyway.

Except now. Torpedoes going off prematurely. I have the box unticked in options and I changed script entry to false in easy normal and hard, I use normal. It still blew up, so I completely deleted my saves and began again. North of Manila sank Mogamo with 2 torps, and I thought great it works.

Lined up on a second Mogamo and torp exploded about 50 years into its run.

WTH is going on??????

There is an Options menu for SingleMissions and the like on the Main Menu when the game starts. There is the Gameplay Options in there. Also, when you do a career, in the office is another, separate Options menu, accessed from clicking on the wood radio console to the left of the desk. Once in there, do the Gameplay Options there, and then they are set for the career. Each career can have its own setting set, with a separate setting for the Main Menu stuff...

As for JSGME, it is an old WinXP app, and has to be run as administrator, whether you do that from a short-cut set-up, the exe file's Properties settings, or from right-clicking on the app and choosing Run as administrator...

JSGME: always as Admin. It canot see the MOD folder for some reason.

Options: I have checked all options, everything read NO DUDES. I mean No Duds!!!! I am running career option too.

Edit: just finished first mission out of Manila. 1 x dud hit a troop ship, all rest went 'bang' on targets. Well, those that hit anything!

I searched though old folders on 'old drives' and found perfect torps, so I installed manually. We shall see ................
