I've been P'ming her. She's hosting a family from the northern side of Israel so she's a bit busy right now. But so far she and her family (and her guests) are fine and still in one piece.

Sorry, in German "brüten" is one and the same word and could be used for both contexts indicated in this thread. But admitted - having checked it in the dictionary now, I see it is a verbal faultpax worth to be made!
