Getting fed up with the saving in campaign mode.
![]() Now Yeaterday I cleaned out all SHIII files from the computer including "My documents/SHIII/*....." ![]() I Reinstalled a clean SHIII basic version and ran a test campaign. Saving "at sea" calling it 00=> worked!!! Doing a "save & exit" called "Del" also went well. The 00-save was visible in the window before I left. I then exited SHIII the normal way. (there were now files in the "My documents/SHIII" folders) After starting SHIII again I also loaded the "00" in-mission file successfully. ![]() Next step was now reinstalling the whole thing (complete SHIII) again + adding Patch 1.4b to it. Also this time I deleted the SHIII folder under "My documents". Started the sim and began a fresh career for a second time. Saved "in mission" as 00 but this time "00" was displayed as "2yu*LIiYDt"!!??? :hmm: I continued further on the patrol & went to "Save&Exit" naming the file "Del". The only result was SHIII crashing ![]() After restart I went to "saved career" were my 00-save now was called "In Mission (5.1ÛI5U+jîmcAÛêlk1U5enéC6cQûQ". ![]() Loaded the thing resulting in "Error while loading save". Loading the "In port before mission" works though. The only thing that really works is saving in port (homeport or milchkuh). Frankly I am getting a bit tired on SHIII especially since campaigns are for me the really fun bit of the sim. ![]() What have I missed??????. :hmm: P4 1.4 mhz, Radeon9600, 512M Ram, winME Regards /Per ![]()
