TWOS have i missed something?

I am new to playing SH5 only watching online gameplay. i just bought the game and was told i should use TWOS mod.

I read the installation notes on how to install the mod and watched Empty Cup's tutorial on the page aswell. I then replayed the video pausing at every step while i installed the mod making sure i did it correctly.

After completing the installation following every step in video tutorial and on page i started the game, began a new campaign but nothing seems to have changed. Have i missed something out? or how will i know if its installed correctly?

After about a year of deciding or not to get this game i now have it but still waiting to play it. All help appreciated.

Maybe you have "missed" the main SH5 install directory while installing the megamod? Do you know where is your game installed?

or how will i know if its installed correctly?

You'll know, because everything will be changed , from game loading screen and main menu all the way to tiniest game play details...

I don't think so. I installed the game onto my C drive & installed the Mod in SH5 folder.

This is what i did.

1-Install game
2-Update game
3-Download TWOS Mod
4-Install mod TWOS
5-Start game for first time

Now between steps 1-4 am i supposed to start the game at any point, the very first time i load up the game is after i have installed everything and the mod doesn't seem to be working.

DVD gold edition work good...
you install game in C:Games?
or in C:program/...etc?
In which directory you install the game?
Can you copy and past File here
path of your game?
for example my game:
C:Ubisoft/silenthunter5

I think i have found out what i did wrong now. After installing & updating the game am i supposed to start up the game then quit before i add mods?

Program file(x86) is bad directory... always problem
you must Install the game here C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5

"C/Program file(x86)/bla/bla" works well for many...

"C/Program file(x86)/bla/bla" works well for many...

As long as they are not running Windows 7 or a later operating system. The UAC in Windows 7 and later does not like modifications to programs installed in the Programs, Programs x86 folders and will block them. That is why it is better to install the game outside of those folders like hauangua said.

I was incorrect before, my DVD is standard version & i downloaded Gold Edition update off Uplay with key.

When i installed game it went to - C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5, when i downloaded Gold Edition it was installed - C:\Program Files (x86).

Do these need to be it same file location? & which fie do i install TWOS in?

Install the gold edition and the TWOS in c:\ubisoft\silent hunter 5

You get errors when you install the twos mod in the program files directory

Yes need in same location C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5
