Hi guys, I am kindda new to SH5 and the world of subsims and submarines, I am also very new in Subsim.com, so sorry if this post and questions are out of place. Here they go:

- Is there a mod that puts victory pennants in your boat when it returns from patrol? Like in this photo http://thefifthfield.com/donitzs-cre...s-from-patrol/

- I read some time ago about a Milchcow mod for SH5, does it work? Is it true?

- I also have some questions regarding history. Like operations drumbeat, I was wondering what type of U-Boat did they use? Only the type IX or where there also type VII boats?

- I also wanted to know what was the role of submarines in the Royal Navy in WW2, after all, there werent any German convoys to attack and if there is a book dealing with this subject, like a British "Das Boot" or "Run Silent, Run deep".

Sadly, there are no mods for victory pennants.

I don't think the Milk Cow mod works. It hasn't been released to my knowledge.

Type VII U-boats did take part in Operation Drumbeat, but they weren't as effective as the Type IXs.

Royal Navy Submarines attacked German shipping convoys, especially in the Meditarranean. They also operated in the Indian Ocean, I believe. I don't know of any RN Submarine books.

The shipping sunk in the Americas Campaign amounted to 25% of all shipping sunk by the Ubootwaffe in WWII and was the most successful campaign of the war for the short duration and effort expended...184 patrols to American waters resulted in losses of 22 uboats: 10 IX's and 12 VII's with 200 of the 1000 ubootwafferin surviving. 34 new IX's, originally opposed by Donitz, made this naval campaign possible.
