Sure thing, what do you have in mind ?
...can it be changed ? Has it ? Could someone point me there ? I do
![]() 'All systems functional, ready for orders captain' would be a hell of a lot better .. and that's without giving it too much thought .. there is probably room for improvement .. but please, someone not sounding like mickey mouse (like me) fix that please ?!? |

IIRC, it has been pointed out that that ship has a slight tendency to capsize; moreover stationary ships are lesser stable than moving ones, thus the problem showing up when the ship is docked in harbors. I am sure that lowering a bit her center of mass, and/or increasing her left/right drag will solve the issue

The ships causing problems in Memel are Ehrenfels cargo ships. They seem to be the most unstable/unbalanced ships in SH 5 and putting them docked in a harbour always seem to end in catastrophe. I'm 90 % sure that those ships are also the ones that can capsize in SH 5. So balancing them would probably take out that nice effect too...

It seems to be shallow water that's causing the issue .. that, and the seafloor being about a meter or so above the visual seafloor. My guess is that even tho there's visual room between the ship and seafloor, the ships damage zone's are probably below seafloor or colliding .. causing it to go down. Perhaps it's wind related too .. as certain waves create a lowpoint that is slightly below the watersurface.

should be one of the navigator dialogs. By replacing its wav file, you can change it with anything you like. To locate it, download Stormy's sound mod, and look for navigator's sound files. Finding them in a mod will be much easier than doing it directly in gem.
