Default Moving from GWX to SH5

Just bought SH5 and trying to figure which mods I need.
Gonna get TDW's .exe patcher, TDW's New UI and Trevally's Open Horizons II for start.
What I wanna know is if SH5 has damage model similar to GWX, e.g. allowing to sink ships by large internal flooding? All the sh5 screenshots are showing destroyed ships on fire, and I think a large fire after torpedo impact wasn't such a common thing. If 'internal flooding' is not organic to SH5, maybe there're some mods which can make that work?

Pardon my English, here in Russia we're more accustomed to drinking vodka from samovars and beating bears for kicks than speaking civilized languages.

If i remember correctly SH5 does not have flooding mechanism.
This mod should add that: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=1607 (although i haven't tested it.)

Thanks IonicRipper, I definitely should try it.

Another question about those damn fireworks: are they purely decorative or somewhat real? If my hits has started a fire on enemy ship, can it eventually burn down and sink/blow without my further assistance? In GWX I was frustrated with tankers which, when literally set ablaze, could burn for hours but stay floating.

Think Critical Hits Torpedos does this as well. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=163930

With OHII I see ships sink that aren't burning and do burn. They will also sink stern and aft first depending on where hit, or sit there level and go down. I've also seen escorts and merchants break in two from torpedo hits. But as said, I believe it's the Critical Hits mod that's makes all this happen.

You will like SH5 Bl00dCat with the mods that give better graphics and 'eye candy'..... enjoy.

Here's two screenshots.....

Since my GWX career save had mystically gone FUBAR (and just in the middle of 60.000 tons patrol! ) I'll try SH5 right now. Either I'll like and move to it, or I'll grudgingly start GWX career anew.
