Default A little bug to watch out for

just found a bug which can kill your watch crew. was just after sinking plenty of ships in a convoy near the isle of man and taking heavy damage from the shallow depth. i was dodging for over an hour before i escaped surfaced and set a course north out of the irish sea. i saved the game and came back to it only to find my watch crew had all been killed mysteriously by a damaged deck.

i didn't repair the damage caused by the DCs when i saved so i have learned my lesson and thought i would tell you guys to watch out for a damaged watch deck killing your men when you save

That's not a bug as far as I see it.
A learning experence, Yes.
A bug, No.

not a bug? 4 men killed themselves by slipping on a damaged deck. It's the only plausible thing i could think happened

As co, you put men in jeopardy by placing them in an area not safe to occupy.

Sending 4 men to a needless death? That's cold, bro

But really, I will keep an eye out for this. My solution is not taking damage, and it's worked so far... (now that I've cursed myself...)

Dive early, Dive often. It's in the CO's handbook.

both periscopes destroyed along with both flak guns, radio antenna was heavily damaged along with deck gun but not destroyed(was in a VIIB in early 1940). i saved the game with everyone alive and came back and they died and were moved to damage control and 4 fresh seamen took their place on the bridge. i dont hear the men down on the deck call but i see it in the text box. no ships within sight and away from land as well
