Cant re-fuel

I am doing operation drumbeat for the second time . The first time my boat got jumped close to bay of biscane and got mauled by some AI british destroyers ! .. I wasnt paying attention and the speed of the game was in warp + 1035 .. Ok so you learn !!

Right !! .. Well i decided o go at it again for a second time and on my way west , I couldnt pass up a convoy that the bdu reported . So I was on my way to get re-fuled and re-armed . I had 6 torpedoes left and 50% fuel So on the map I plotted out a intseception course and I went flank speed wit the chief overchargeing the diseals .. Well that ate up around 20% fuel as a made a b-line north to intercept the convoy . I had sunken 4 frieghters and damaged 2 other ,, My last torpedo was a Fat it manged to hit a destroyer .. all >> good

I escaped all the angry destroyers and a made a course for the milk cow . when I was around 500 km out I requested re-supply . the cordinates were revealed and about the time I got closer the damm mil cow vanished , My fuel is down to 20% and the dame meilk re-positend itself- 4000 Km or so ( going from memory ) , East .. I dont have enough fuel to go back eastward .. I have sent numerous "patrol reports , even Moved My boat farther away from the position that is close to the USA .. and stiil the damm Milk cow will not go back west .. I have been sitting about 300km from the western re-fuel point for about three days .. the first objective syas its complete and go procced to sink 50,000 tons on the US east Coast .. Iam out of torpedos and and only 20% of fuel left in the tanks ..

Does anyone have advice and have you encounterd this same situation ?.. Its a real BUZZ killer because I have sat in one place for three days , hoping that the mik cow would come back west .. any advice ? Iam doing 100% settings with a nice MOD list . my list , if it helps ?

There should be a tutorial On how to conserve fuel . I went 4500 km to a tanker and had only 5 liters of fuel left after the long journey to re-fuel. when I started My tank had 20% left !

I have a question if you dont mind me asking ! when using your real nav scripts . How important is it to have the correct time ? I have enabled all of them to cover the 24 hour clock .. is that a good practise ?

Selecting the one with the correct time means that you will go straight into the auto fix every 2hours. The script uses a time wait command so that the celest fixes are realy when actual conditions are set. i.e. sundown, when the sun does down etc

If you select the wrong script to start - you will get a fix when you start the script, but the next one may be up to 24hours away. This happen when the first command is say take fix at 00:00 and the actual time is 00:01 - then here you will wait 24 hours until 00:00 comes around again.

So it is better to pick the correct one
