I played a great drinking game a while back with about 10 friends - we had a blast. It was called "Drug Dealer" here is how it works.
Sit your friends around a table - the more people the more fun. before the cards are dealt, pick out a number of cards equal to the number of players (10 players - there should be 10 cards) It should be arranged so that every card will be a random numbered card except for two of the cards. these two cards should be a King and an Ace. every other card should be any numbered card (such as a 5 of clubs, a 4 of hearts a 10 of diamonds etc) one card is then dealt to each player - the player can view his or her card but should not show it to others. The player who received the ACE is the drug dealer. the player who received the KING is the police officer. the game now begins. the drug dealer should eventually wink at another player. when a player observes a wink he or she announces "A deal has been made" at this point the police officer lays down his king so it is visible and announces himself to be the police officer. he then has to guess who the drug dealer is. for each incorrect guess he must take a shot... (in the event this player is drinking beer he must chug for 5 seconds) if he guesses correctly, the drug dealer is now "arrested" and must take a shot (or 5 second chug). once the drug dealer has been discovered and has taken his shot, the game is over and the cards are shuffled and re-dealt. generally, everyone is wrapped up in conversation - and many times people miss the wink. the cop not wanting to guess wrongly is attempting to concentrate on everyone's faces hoping to catch the wink but with a fair number of players this is hard to do - and only becomes harder as the night goes on. it can become pretty intense as the drug dealer might wait several minutes before winking at another player. and there is always the risk that he may wink at the police officer. in which case he is instantly arrested and must do his shot. we played this game for perhaps 3 or 4 hours and it resulted in a lot of really drunk people shouting "A drill has been maid!" or any variation of that phrase and watching the police officer as he gazes at his suspects looking for any sign of guilt in their intoxicated faces. how about you guys? got any good drinking games?

Something I will never understand is drinking games where you are rewarded with a drink if you lose.

There's a right nasty speed bump near my favourite pub and we sit there with our drinks and everytime a car hits the pavement (it's heard quite loud) after driving over it too fast we take a shot. We're drunk after an hour

The boys (Quality Street Gang) sit around a table and someone and everyone is dealt a card.
All cards are turned over and the highest card (there can't be two cards the same prior to dealing I meant to say, so if ten were playing, ten different numbered cards would be dealt) gets to choose a song. That individual sings the first line and in a clockwise direction the next person sings the next line and on it goes until someone doesn't know the next line and the forfeit is to drink a one inch measure of whatever you are drinking. As the night goes on everyone tends to believe whatever it is they are singing is the true lyrics. |

"Terry Turbo" we called it.
In the army we used to initiate the Jubes (newbies) by laying them on a bench or table, whatever met the need, a flexible tube with a funnel attached and insert tube into recruit's mouth, whilst holding the tube closed. Enter copious amounts of Beer cans, back then it was VB, unload contents of said copious amount of beer cans into funnel. Then, release all hell into recruit's eagerly-awaiting insides! |

![]() Everyone starts with 6 points (or pints if you're really thirsty ![]() You take two dices and roll them under a glass or something so that you cant see what's underneath. The one who threw them now peeks underneath it and remembers the number. Score is as follows: - highest number is multiplied by 10 and added to the lowest number (so a 5 and a 3 makes 53, a 2 and a 4 makes 42 etc.) - two equal numbers are that number multiplied by 100 (so two 3s makes 300, two sixes 600 etc.) - a 2 and a 1 is the highest score, called a "mex". The player remembers what he has thrown, puts the glass back on top of the dices and passes it on to the next player. He now has a to say what the number he's thrown is, he can either speak the truth or lie. The trick is that whatever he says, it has to be a higher number than the guy before him threw. The next guy now has a few options. He can believe what is said, in which case he either has to throw a new number (higher than what was said) or he can pass it on to the next guy (only one turn, the next guy can't pass it on to the next next guy) (seen as cowardly). If he doesn't believe what is said, he can lift the glass. If the number is lower than what was said, the guy who threw it loses a point. If it's higher or equal, the guy who lifted the glass loses a point. EXAMPLE: guy 1 throws 41. He speaks the truth. guy 2 believes him and throws 100. He speaks the truth about it. guy 3 believes it and throws 53. Since he has to throw higher than the guy before him, he has to lie and says 200. guy 4 doesn't believe it and lifts the glass. 53 is lower than 200, so guy 3 loses a point (and can throw again) guy 3 throws a 51, but since he's the first one throwing that round he can speak the truth about it. guy 4 throws a 31, he lies and says it's a 63. guy 5 believes it and throws a 100. etc. etc. If someone claims he's thrown a mex (so that's 21), whoever loses that round loses two points. Best played with 4-8 people. Another great game is "Kingsen", but I haven't got time ATM to explain the rules. I will however tell you about "Zap de Neger" ("Zap the Nig***"). You can do this when there's a TV around. Take the remote and zap to the next channel. If there's a black guy on screen within the first few seconds, drink. Pass the remote on to the next player, who does the exact same thing.
