AA and proper Sun graphics

Moin Kaleuns,

I am trying to get anti aliasing to work along with the sun glare as I found in this post:

Here are my settings:

Nvidia Control Panel: 3D Settings, Adjust image settings with preview, Let the 3D application decide

Nvidia Inspector 1.9.5.9:

Edit: Thank you for your help, I have AA but no Sun glare.

So I am confused - do these settings solve the problem or are you still having a problem?

I'm getting the "golfball sun" and no halo and am looking to fix it.

Hi Fubar2Niner,

Thanks for the helping hand. I adopted your settings as you can see on my settings here:

But I still have a golfball sun as you can see here along with another visual glitch at the bottom of my binocular view that I have to fix (I can't recall how I fixed this one in the past ):

I don't know if it helps you guys, because I have an ATI card (HD6870) with the AMD Control Center, but I had just reinstalled my SH3/Grey Wolves on a new system and found that I was getting the golf ball sun as well.
Only thing I did was change the AA from "Use Application Settings" to using the GPU's AA @ 4x; AA mode is set to Multi-Sample (I've got a Super Sample setting but haven't even tried it yet).
Anyway, after restarting the game I had the glare/halo back on the sun.

I am like you. I am still having a "golfball sun" among other visual glitches.
