starter needs help

hello

i just bought sh5 and i would like to ask you for help.
i did turotial and second mision, but i took me along time, because of stearing.
i am ploting courses on map, and when i attack something i turn my sub toward the target with ins button, what i would like to ask is how to return back on ploted course, because its anoying to plot all the patrol points once again i would reather return to previous ploted way. is there any shortkey or what must i click or do. also last time i tried to attack destroyer for a joke, i had tdc on, i find the shape of boat, i mesured the distance, but tdc wouldnt conculate speed, and how should i use angle ? must i use angle from which i see the boat or what is the point of angle ? one more question, when i have all the tdc resoult and tdc turned on, should i shot torpedos infront of destroyr or will tdc automaticly shot them before destroyer. last time i spended all of my torpedos because destroyer was moveing to fast and all my torpedoes mist for tiny thing but i was shoting blind.

1. Download the mod. Unzip and copy in your mod folder
2. Enable the mod
3. When you are in game pres F1 and you wil see waht command you can do by keyboard. If you pres ,,space,, you will have more commands

If you want to learn and to enjoy to play this game i sugest you to install some mods - the most imported ones are made by TDW. First read careful on the forum about how you can instal a mod. After that try to install some mods. I recomand you the megamod Magnum opus:

Your questions have more to do with piloting and basic Captain skills then mods. I would suggest you read the stickies in this forum under tips, tactics and TDC tutorials. But that's an awful lot of reading. So take your time and spend most of it on the sub just getting to know how it works from trying and doing.

Talk to the men and get to know the few basic functions they do. You can return to course simple by asking the navigator to do so. He will get you right back in course headed for you next waypoint. A Shift arrow left or right will get the sub in a hard turn.

The purpose of the TDC is to do all the calculation to set the torpedoes on the proper path. That means when the TDC has the proper input the torpedoes will end up where you point it at and at the distance you expect. However getting the proper input takes skill. Range,speed and AOB all have to inputted correctly if the computer is to do its job. That's where you have plenty of reading to do. Play with automatic TDC for awhile.

If you have a mic...download SH5Speech and simply 'tell' the navigator to 'Return to course'.
