The Core of this Mod was or is a Realtime fatigue system. And have grow by a couple of other realism settings. Maybe not much people are so crasy to play SH3 with realtime fatigue but for me its an important realism setting. I know its a lot of work to change crew members by hand but the game play is much more realistic. Alone that the bad weather have now really influence on that what you can do or not.

It was not easy to find a middle way between impossible and boring.I hope i have try out every possible situation (thats was impossible, would be too much - but i have do my best) and have try to go on the limit what the crew can do, but still let enough space for fun in the game.

New Flooding and Repair times (complete reworked lrt model):
I have try to make it just so, that a fresh rested new crew are in really big trouble by medium-heavy damage. So on Sea after a long raid you will have much more problems. The Qualifikationen of crew members have influence on how effective they repair a station. So a Boatsman with qualikation in torpedo can better repair torpedo room as other stations. You can see - have a Crew in a station the flooding under control or does more water come in and they need more help. When the times grow more water comes in, when the time slowly goes down the flooding in this station is under control. So longer you wait to repair a station so longer it will takes to get the water out of boat. You can repair you U-Boat now on the ground too, but dont raise Time compression higher as x16 or you will take damage - this feature is more somethink for the northsea or similar, will not really help you in atlantic.
After a couple of patrols and with more experience your crew will do a better job.
Notes:
The Quarters are for sleeping and take a break, the people will not reapair this station alone - only the repair station can repair the quarters.


New Fatigue System:
Its an 8 hour shift system (~4 hours in bad weather)
All stations inside the boat have no more any bad weather influence, only the bridge. For that i have increase the stress factor a bit. This was a must have because new repair times and works really nice. This mode include an handbook for the shift system for every boat, take a look in there when somethink is not clear.

New U-Boat Crew:
Every Station have now 2sets of worker.

New U-Boat Guns:
I have change the settings so that the waves have now a bigger influence on your Deck Gun. You need a really shallow sea to use it and to be close to your target. I have slightly increase the loading times, but not too much. wanted make that weapen only much more useless.

New Camera Settings:

I have take away all spring points, shortcuts, whatever and let the player only 3 cameras.
1st starting location - only to come in game.
2th one camera inside
3th one camera outside
So when you want to look what the navigator can tell you, go to him and look there on the map, when you want to use attack periscope, go there.


Be a good Kaleun and your crew will work fine.
You will be complete secure so long you do no faults by attack runs, but when you get a more or less critical hit, the situation will change because you need to repair stations. And when you start to repair your boat, you all and everythink, but NOT silent.
When all takes too long and/or you getting more damage from waterbombs and starting to sink,
1st Choice - Raise the speed to get your boat on the right depth level (but keep an eye on batterie status)
2th Choice - You still have compressed air, which give you a little timewindow and will rescue your boat. (my experience - you can use it 3x until the compressed air is empty, when you then NOT surface and still have NOT the flooding under control your boat will sink and is lost.
Try to to stay cool in critical situataions. Mostly all you need is a bit more time to repair this or that, just so that your boat is prepared for silent mode and try to sneak away and get your boat full repaired where it is a bit more secure.


Changes to GWX3:
- New Repair Times System (inspirated or rebalanced LRT2.03Lite Model)
- New kind of (Realtime) Fatigue System compare to the new Repair Times
- New Loading Screens
- New much Darker Gui - very usefull at night
- New kind of Camera Model - no more spring points
- New U-Boat guns settings, its now a useless think on the deck
- New Plotting system (same as VM Plotting Mod)

- Chief Helmsman opens now the Hatch
- The Radio Antenna is now bonded to the Radio Operator

Notes:
Includes different settings of max time compression, my experience is that max 256 (or lower) is the best setting for this mod, 512 works nice too but 1024 is a way too fast.
And one point, its very important to watch how the weather is, so more time compression so lesser you could see it on instruments. When the depth instrument shake like crasy its bad weather.

I'm really not sure why you are trying to reinvent the wheel as far as the fatigue model is concerned in GWX3.0.

If you RTFM (never used that for a while ) pages 58-63 you will find a comprehensive/detailed explanation.

GWX ALREADY HAS an eight hour crew fatigue system that is reduced to four hours in bad weather.

i know the gwx fatigue system well, and it is not really playable with longer repair times,
and one more point, the diesel-machine - electric room have a bug when you place under water people in diesel room and other way around surfaced people in electric room
that is more a stock sh3 'bug' as a gwx think

And i dont like to have my crew full rested after an hour or so, that should be a very little timewindow between working-time and needed rest-time

Inlcudes now (all) features i wanted. The camera system is ready too.

This is now the last Beta. Maybe its the Final, i havent found anythink
not working right. The one or the other readme may not right... only
some little stuff.

For people with no or less experience in realtime fatigue should do a
few days test patrol (5-8days) and try to get your boat and your crew
undamaged back to homebase.

A nice test run is doing a mission and try to come out alive.feel the
panic comeing up and the fear by starting a attack run.

For people who dont like improvements, i dont blame anyone if he use
somethink similar, long before released original idea or what ever.

I want give it a try, but i have a resolutionscreen 1280/1024 and when i enabled this mod, JSGME says anything with 1024/786...Ingame i cannot click any Stationbutton, they dont works..it seens like that the mod is only playing in lowest resolution or im wrong?

Hi V-Modifications,

could you please be a little bit more specific about the bug you mention? What's the problem with putting people into the diesel/electric engine room?
