Can I cheat?

My question is if I can cheat?
I want to rase my renown.
Is that possible in any way?

I want that precious IXB !!

Yes, there are ways to edit your renown. I forget exactly how to do it, but as I remember it's fairly easy.

Or you can just begin a new career in a Type IX. That's the very easiest.

I tried with commander and I didn´t have that option with any flotilla.
Now I´m in feb.-40 and want that IXB despratly....

I think theres a way to edit some file some where to add renown...

2nd Flotilla, Wilhelmshaven, Dec '39. The IXB is in the U-boats as a drop-down option.

Of Course...special if you want to save to able to play with XXI U-Boot type, late at the end of War!

I feel your pain! Unfortunately only the IXA was available at the start of the war, and it's not in the game.

All you have to do to raise your renown is open up the file "patrols_0", located under your commander name in "my doc" - sh3 - data - cfg - Careers - "commander name". Oune you open up "patrols_0", (with notepad), scroll to the bottom of the file and find "delta renown". Just change and save!

I'm pretty sure thats how, havn't done it in a while, so make a back up before you try it. but, I'm about 99% sure thats how its done.

oh, and be in base when you do it, being sure o to open up the most recent save file.
