Meh, these types of asteroids fly closely a few times per year, IIRC.

But hey - if it had actually hit, it would have been Bush's fault!

What spin? If he didn't waste so much money there would be an anti-asteroid department ready to launch countermeasures at them.

PLUS he installed a giant ASTEROID MAGNET in Boston so he could start an inter-galactic war in China.

Can we send Bruce Willis up with a nuclear weapon an explode it. It may not damage the asteroid, but it will get rid of Bruce Willis!
