Storm damage? wouldnt it be cool if...

I was just thinking, id love it if heavy seas had more of an effect on your boat, i think it would be fairly realistic to see damages to any external equipment due to rough sea conditions, i guess in reality the forward deck/88mm and forward dive planes would get the brunt of it, bridge equipment like the biscay cross would also be massivly vulnerable to storm damage. Maybe even a small chance of loosing a crewman overboard.
I think this would force a more realistic way of playing, not just ploughing on through mountains of water but being forced to dive or risking damage to your boat.

Now i know rough seas can damage surface ships in game so it it possible for subs too???

If its possible and somebody could point me in the right direction i`ll have a crack at modding this myself, but for now i wouldnt have a clue where to start.
