Does anyone know how long Kahlua lasts? I searched around the web a bit and couldn't find an "official" answer or one that I trust.
Cleaning out the garage I found five bottles I made about 10 years ago. The seals look good, no odor. I'm just afraid of taking a sip. I was thinking of giving a bottle to someone and then check back with them in a week. If they lived, I guess it would be good. Or, possibly keeping it longer and let it age some more. I couldn't find a brave guinea pig and the ferret is too far away. So I thought I'd ask some of you professional drinkers. |

It's alcohol it can't go bad, unless it got skunked. Nothing worse than skunked beer.

liqueurs dont have as much of a shelf life as most alcoholic drinks.
if it was capped and sealed - should be ok. take a taste, if the flavor is unsatisfactory, trash it... if the flavor is favorable... enjoy  i recommend pouring it over ice with vodka and milk. accompanied by one of these
