[Politics] You WILL think like me now, I have all the answers

Does anyone know how long Kahlua lasts? I searched around the web a bit and couldn't find an "official" answer or one that I trust.

Cleaning out the garage I found five bottles I made about 10 years ago. The seals look good, no odor. I'm just afraid of taking a sip. I was thinking of giving a bottle to someone and then check back with them in a week. If they lived, I guess it would be good. Or, possibly keeping it longer and let it age some more.

I couldn't find a brave guinea pig and the ferret is too far away. So I thought I'd ask some of you professional drinkers.

It's alcohol it can't go bad, unless it got skunked. Nothing worse than skunked beer. :timeout:

liqueurs dont have as much of a shelf life as most alcoholic drinks.

if it was capped and sealed - should be ok.

take a taste, if the flavor is unsatisfactory, trash it... if the flavor is favorable... enjoy :yeah:

i recommend pouring it over ice with vodka and milk.

I think all of you just want to watch me die.

Firewall is the only one willing to protect me by drinking it for me.

I'm still going to wait. Maybe I'll save it and bring it to the next subsim meeting.

I go with the sip option. if it tastes bad, pitch it, you can't die from a minimal slug of bad alchohol

Drink it, because that which what does not kill you makes you stupider. And the daft are usually strong.

Skybird 09-25-09 05:02 AM

Take a sip and then spit it out. Check if you feel any burning or strong bitter taste on your tongue. If not, take another sip and keep it in the mouth for 3-5 minutes, then spit it out. If you do not feel any burning or bitter taste, then take a third sip and swallow it. Wait for 20-30 minutes. If then you are well and you feel nothing and no burning taste and no bitterness, then there is no point in drinking it and you can safely throw it away.
