When if ever, does the game use the T02.dds or O02.dds files? all the skins i have made are with using the 01.dds files for any given skin. I read somewhere on the forums that the 02.dds were for skins later int he war, but i haven't seen it yet, is this in fact the case? and if so, under hwat circumstances does the game put them in to the game?

IIRC, there is a CFG file in the folder where you can add or edit the entry of these **2.dds files. I think these can run to more than 1 or 2 different texture files. Effectively meaning that SH4 allows you to display changing camo or weathering schemes as the months or years roll on. ![]() Also, consider this. It might also mean that you could conceivably have a convoy with more than one instance of the same ship but different colour schemes. Never got to test this but the theory is sound.

ok. so I just got the sonar absorbing upgrade paint job and the game loaded up the To2.dds paint scheme. So i took my To1.dds (which i have spent a ton of time skinning) and saved it as the To2.dds in the skin mod folder. Here's the new question: will i still have the sonar absorbing paint characteristic?
