i just upgraded to shiv1.5 on a vista 64 system, game runs great
![]() my problem is i want to add RSRDC but i cant seem to load it in the correct file for JSGME to extract it. i have loaded other mods with no problem, but RSRDC is not zipped, and every time i try to import to JSGME i cant ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hello,
normally what I do, I use a program called 7zip, extract zipped file to desktop,then drag unzipped folder to mod enabler, then activate, most mods you can get from file front that are zipped....hope this helps ![]() |

If you've installed SH4 into the "Program Files" folder, then Vista is putting your mod files someplace else to "protect" your system. If you'll install the game in a folder outside of "Program Files" (or better yet, on a different hard drive from Vista, if you have one), then your problem should go away.
I'm no Vista expert, but I also believe that you can solve the problem by running JSGME (and any other program that places a mod into your mod folder) as administrator. |
