"They clearly have enough material for a bomb," said Richard Garwin, a top nuclear physicist who helped invent the hydrogen bomb and has advised Washington for decades. "They know how to do the enrichment. Whether they know how to design a bomb, well, that's another matter."
Point being, THEY don't have to make one. just refine the raw material and sell it to someone who can...

It wouldn't surprise me if Bush decided to bomb Iran before he left office.

Not that I want him to, nor do I think it's the right thing to do (it isn't) but if it happens I wouldn't be surprised.

Bush/Cheney think the answer to everything is to feed the military industrial complex and will search for any excuse to do so. They tried to build a case for Iran a few times, and I hope this isn't the beginning of another attempt.

It is more likely that the Israelis will do the smack down.. that's what they did with Saddam's nuclear facility in the 80's or so.

It would surprise the hell out of me. Anyway, I think President Bush is going to let the next administration figure this one out regrettably. I'm hoping President Obama will handle this matter firmly and quickly. And I hope he drops that "without pre-conditions yada yada" talk. In other words, I'm hoping that if there is intel to support Mr. Bush's hardline on Iran, and Obama is privy to it, I hope his eyes were opened about what his course of action should be. Bombing of Iranian facilities???? I don't know, but it is an option that should be considered. Not sure if Mr. Obama has the fortitude or confidence to carry that out. This is something to watch very closely.
