Happens all the time:
The church of the Sepulchre is divided between the traditional kinds of christian faith.
The greek orthodox, as the most ancient, guard the inner sanctum, but everybody and his dog wants to guard something, even if it is the garbage can.
Who guards exactly what is constantly changing, the change mostly being the result of fights like this one.
So Armenian Orthodox, Eritrean Kopts, Egyptian Kopts, Ethiopian Orthodox, Chaldaic Christians from Iraq and whoever all want to have some part of it. The catholics are somewhere in there too, I think they guard the front entrance or something.
I'm talking about the traditional kinds of christian faith here. For some reason, the "bible belt" faction has been kept out of that mess by all. Maybe the traditional christians are just too brutal for Jerry Fallwell's guys.
Not even traditional german protestants are part of it, they only have a splendid 1900s church on the outskirts of the old town, paid by the Kaiser himself.

I can't get over the fact that they can't remove a ladder because no one can agree who has the power to remove it!

They should all be disrobed!

Kidding aside, they really should be ashamed of themselves.
