Default Missing textures

As you can see, there are some missing textures. TMO152 + RSRDC w/p10.
Any help?

Are you sure the texture's are missing? This could be Japans attempt at early stealth technology. Sorry could'nt resist....CH

Same problem here, but stock v1.5 and the textures are missing on the new ships. I've not tested aircraft. No idea what the problem is either.

when you export the model, at least in 3ds, you have to use the channel 2, I had the same trouble, also the dds type should be 1 or 3, there is a thread by me one the subject of dds types, which if it is the wrong one means no visible texture ingame.

I was thinking this is mod-related.
Prior to upgrading to TMO 1.52 + RSRDC (latest version) I was running TMO 1.5b + appropriate RSRDC version for TMO. I had no issues with missing textures for any object throughout 3 full war patrols.

Now for my 4th patrol, and the first after upgrading the mods to the latest version, I experienced this.
Of course, it could be that the problem was there all along, as I normally crash dive as soon as radar picks up an incoming aircraft. However in this instance I decided to duke it out on the surface.

Ducimus? Lurker?

Are you saying this could be a simple error on the mod maker's part (if it is that)?
I'm just a simple player, but if you could post how I could rectify the problemit would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Does anyone know whether the Zero float plane is a "stock" aircraft that comes with the game?
Alternatively if someone could send me the associated texture files, and tell me where to save them, I'd be grateful. Hopefully this can solve the problem.

Hi all!

I think there's a solution for your problem :

http://forum.sukhoi.ru/attachment.ph...8&d=1204894720

Find and extract two .dds files ( AFB_NakajimaN_T01.dds and AFB_NakajimaN_T01_lr.dds ) to your sh4/Data/Air/AFB_NakajimaN and that's it!

And I didn't find any other missing or corrupted textures. I'm using the same two mods as you.

Enjoy!

Thank you Igec. I shall try them and see.
I suppose it's safe to install via JSGME in mid-patrol (since it's only graphic files)?

Oh, btw, welcome to Subsim!!

Default *.DDS problems

keltos01 - slightly off topic, but is the lack of any torpedo damage in SH4 the result of the improper use of *.DDS files? When I look at the SH4 metal damage dds files (compared with 'Damage_metal_a.tga' from SH3 GWX) with a graphics reader, all I get is a black square. Maybe we'd get better damage if the dds type were changed?? I dunno, not a modder.
