I remember those films in school.
It may seem silly but in the case of an nuclear blast what else can you do? During periods of the 50's and early 60's the common fear was not "if" a atomic bomb goes off but "when". They were scary times. The main character in D&C was named Bert. Trivia question is what other civil defense program (far less well known than D&C) was this name a tie in for? Ya gots to be really old to know this
