It looks like you need a few depth charges to knock a bit of rust off :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Someone more qualified might give you a better answer.

I think there's a texture quality slider in the "video options" from the main menu in game - I know it sounds really obvious but have you checked it's all the way up, just in case?

Can't offer any more suggestions, sorry.

If you say the size of the file with the name "NSSUboat9b.tga" is 12MB. The picture of this folder is very similar to the for example the "NSS_Uboat7c_hull.tga" then, I supose the "NSSUboat9b" is the "hull" folder of the IXB.

For me this problem is connected to the graphic-card (own software) settings.
Play with AA levels and texture-quality, to find out which settings get you high-qualitiy.
Btw. I am using a ATI-card.

If you open up the hull.tga. what size (pixel) is it? Is it a 1024x1024 or a 2048x2048.
most of my subs are around 25mb and done in high res.

Well, first, i search the "hull.tga" file and i can´t find it in the main game directory, only the file of the skin i said before "NSS_Uboat7c_hull.tga". This:

And two, the pixel size of this file is 2048x2048. Any ideas?.

Than you again!.

Looking at the tga file it looks crisp and clean. I cant imagine why in game it looks blurred. Would you care to let me know where you got this downoad Ill add it in and see how it shows up in my game.

Hi again, mi VC is PCIE, ATI X1950. I download the skin from the Yamato9 filefront site

http://hosted.filefront.com/Yamato9/2144081

The skin is the Type9c Grey masked v2. This skin is for the IXC but I saw that the design is very similar and I try use it for the IXB.

Anyway, I trie to search/download a skin only for the IXB, install it an see if the problem persist.

Bye!

Did you try what I mentioned above?
I have the exact same problem with my ATI when AA and Mipmap-detail is set wrong. I don't remember anymore which exact setting it was, but try it out.
