Balz is preparing to go on another quest for the fabled 200K in October 1941. He had to abort his last patrol at 153K due to destroyed periscopes. You can find him drinking away his pain at Lulu's in Lorient.

My current, but not best thus far is 473,888 tonnage. With 80% realism.
And after every patrol me and my crew go to best nightclub and get drunk hard.

My best total tonnage is 250,790 tons. This was with stock SH3, have barely got near this with GWX, keep getting sunk

No mention this was a single patrol score.

You need to set the year for this as early war you stand a better chanced than mid war.

And the type of U-Boat as well.

My highest was 2,002,000 on Kpt. z. S. Heinz Freiderich Ziepel's career in a VIIC/42.

All we're getting here is totals for a carreer. The object of this thread is for 200k in ONE patrol.

A difficult goal but duable. So far, even the great Balz has not made it. Will the club ever form? Bash your heads, chaps and try

My best to date is 136,888 tons @ 69% realism. Nowhere near 200K yet.

On the one or two occasions that I tried cherry-picking and/or game-saving my way to a supernatural tonnage score I found that it wasn't fun at all.

I think I managed once to top 100k without expressly attempting the feat, and it still felt kinda silly... at one point deck-gunning a massive passenger liner. I did save a screen print for the tonnage, but never bothered to announce it anywhere cuz it wasn't something I was particularly proud of achieving.

To me, a more impressive feat would be to post pictures of manually targetted torpedo impacts on ridiculously small vessels at long range. I've toyed with the idea of creating a "Squirrel Hunter" mission where you have to sink an Elco with a torpedo. For some reason though I haven't gotten around to it...
