Default Funny looking ship..

Hmmm I was being hunting by ships so I looked up the periscope and saw this wierd looking ship. Then I went to free view and took a screenie..it's possible that it's an elco torpedo but thats wierd..

Also I saw another ship and I thought GWX was encountering a problem..the spotlight had nothing holding it.. it was above the command deck 10 meters..it wasn't being held or on anything.

:hmm: I didn't see a Vospers MTB in the booklet..nor does it look near any ship in the book because of it's tower and the glass/type of command deck.

Ahh, the old 'identified floating object' problem! Here's one of mine from a few days ago (just off Lisbon):

Yes, you are right. That is the exact problem I had with a small tug boat or coastal ship! I wonder what causes that?

Not sure why it happens. I remember other threads where it was mentioned but can't find 'em with the search. If someone like BBW reads this he can probably tell us if it's just a GWX thing or in stock as well (I only ever played Training School mission 1 in stock so I can't comment).

Personally I've only ever seen guns levitating so will look out for searchlights in future

There are some ships that suffer from floating guns\searchlights in 1.03
They have all been re done for 1.04

The pic above isnt one of those though
Something like that is usually the result of graphics strain on the PC - too much going on

A save exit and reload normally cures those

Hmmm thanks for the info. Anyway this is the first time I've encountered a problem like this, can't wait until GWX104!
