Default Do you think the Rockies will sweep the Diamondbacks in the NLCS?

Tonight the Colorado Rockies will play game four of the NLCS (National League Championship Series). Currently they are 3-0 in a best of seven searies with the Arizona Diamondbacks and have won 21 of their last 20 games.

The game will air tonight @10:00 EDT.

I think a sweep would be bad for them. They would have a long wait before the World Series starts.

But: The way they are playing, they will probably beat AZ tonight.

The Rockies aren't the Broncos. Thank goodness.

They will, but they are no where near the caliber of the top AL teams. The biggest disappointment is that the other NL teams have been unable to hit against the Rockies crappy pitching. The Indians will teach them a lesson in how to play ball after we put Boston away in Cleveland starting tonite. I am hoping for a home sweep against the Sox.

Well. I guess there is only one phrase I can use: Big IF for Cleveland. Are they called the Indians? When was the last time the Indians won anything in the US?

Fights on!!

Better them then some stupid 1993 expansion team. This is our chance to save face from that horrible 1997 World Series loss against the other 93 expansion team the Marlins and this time we don't have Jose "the rapist" Mesa to blow it for us. Our bullpen should make short work of the Rockies. Of course I can always call the old humidor controversy in as well.

Seriously though, we will beat the Sox and I badly want to face Denver and beat you guys to a pulp since your football team has always been in a thorn in our side. Stupid John Elway

If I were a betting man, I'd take the Rockies.

Elway is some kind of a god here. I don't know why, the teams he played on lost more games than they won. Elway is a hack.

Yeah, but he brought the Lombardi trophy to Denver. And his career numbers are very impressive.

Perhaps, but he didn't do it alone. Last I checked football was a team sport.
And he did nothing on his own.

Yep, Elway is the bane of Cleveland. Look up the history if you ever get a chance. Not only did he screw up Cleveland in the 1980s during the playoffs against Denver but his choice to not go with the Baltimore Colts in 83 lead to the team going to Indianapolis which left the vacancy for Art Modell to sell out the Browns and move the team to Baltimore which as you know led to the Browns sucking when they finally came back up until this year which now they look like a football team. By the way the Indians are beating up on the Red Sox pretty good tonite.

Have you actually watched them play? They have the best defense in baseball, they can play smallball or put up 10 runs. Their pitching was poor before the Allstar break, but no more. The only team weakness is middle relief pitching. If the starters do well, that negates that weakness.

IF your Indians survive the Sox, you might get to see for yourself.
