Short Patrol BIG Reward

WARNING!!! This was written by Oblt. Johan Sebastian Balz (God's gift to the Kriegsmarine).

All right, you meandering, bunch of incompetents. This report is writen for YOU, the guy who pinkels and moans about low tonnages. It also contains information about Zombie ships.

My Zombie patrol started in Cadiz and ended there ten days later (20-30 March 1940) with 116,000 tons below my keel.

Being a very clever and perspicatious commander, once I was 40 kms from Cadiz, wnet to PD, stopped engines, and read de la Barca. At 1750 hrs. the hydroguy reported a sound contact. 30 minutes later, still with engines at stop, I surfaced and let a large freighter have it from my deck-gun from 500 meters. The next target came up 4 hours later. We had to move for this one;a small freighter violatin Spanish neutrality, creeping 4 kilomtres from the coast. We Balzed it with the DG.

Modesty prevents me to describe all my brilliant moves of the next few days. But here's a summary of good quick tonnage and below that you will find how to avoid torpedoe eating Zombies.

http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o...e/fsscr869.jpg (map picture)

21 March --large freighter, 1 small freighter
22 March --2 small freighters, one medium and one large freighter
24 March --1 Large, !small freighter
25 March-- 2 large freighter, 1 medium
26 March--1 large freighter
27 March--1 large freighter
29 March--1 medium freighter.

On 23 March I torpedoed and sunk 2 large Zombie freighters (no credit for sinkings).
So I moved to Cape Sao Vicente and continued to brilliantly sinking Tommies.

Going to Cadiz to sink and resuply early in the war will give you lots of tonnage & renown. Just beware of the Zombies.

Though obnoxious, Balz is sane! When not busy, he works on his song, Meet me in Balzimore You Hoochie Woochie.

For your info: Balz been promoted to Kplt and got KC with oakies. So far he's got the first line of Meet me in Balzimore You Hoochie Woochie, which is: Meet me in Balzimore You Hoochie Woochie.

U-53 has left Cadiz for a cruise to Wilhelmshaffen with popular stops at Cape Sao Vicente and Tanker Alley. Along the way he will work on further lines of Meet me in Balzimore You Hoochie Woochie.

At the party celebrating Balz's glorious return he will sing in his rich baritone: Meet me in Balzimore You Hoochie Woochie.

Try that at 95% realism...

Ever raid more than 2 naval bases in a day? THAT'S what SH3 is all about: getting dangerous and getting honor. God I love Scapa Flow... and London...

Ewe is another good one. After all that goes down, best to go around the Irish Sea and head home (unless you want swarms of DD's on your ass!). Good thing is that the Irish Sea holds a lot of passenger liners and tramp steamers.

Kptnlt. Johan Sebastian Balz says:

A good Kaleun practices good judjment and uses his cunning to sink great tonnage. Taking unnessessary risks will prevent you from returning home and enjoying a night at the opera.

Korvettkapitan Jochen Mohrs says:
Sinking merchants is good. but sinking warships is even better
the more warships get sunk is:
1. more unprotected convoy's
2. less friendly submarines getting destroyed
3. paralising the enemy forces on sea
4. germany rules the seas
5. a successfull invasion of brittania
6. EUROPE WILL BE OURS
