Default Finally Taking the Plunge! (GWX)

Guten Tag, Alle,

Naja, after taking the Type VIIB out and sinking 15 freighters in one month at sea, I figured: even with my 1WO doing the math for the surface shots, this is whack -- totally unreal tonnage. So I'm d/ling GWX 1.03 and installing it tonight. Hoo-Ahh!

One of these days, you might hear I've gone to Penang! (I'll try to avoid the Conning Tower of Death!)

Tschuss!

Just one question, what took you so long?

Any way you will be blown away.

Indeed, what took me so long?? :hmm: Well, I like to get thoroughly acquainted with the stock version first -- then I can fully appreciate what the mods do. I've added a lot of them individually (which I'll remove before the GWX install, naturlich).

Oh yeah, I just read the GWX book yesterday. Mensch, that was the clincher! Looks like I'm not getting much sleep tonight!

@Schöneboom:
Am I guessing right that you are NOT a German who lives in America?:hmm:
Because some of the German words you use seem to be a little bit displaced. Maybe you spent some time in Germany where you picked up some of those words?
I don't want to offend you, I'm just curious.
Where are you from? Holland?

So, my accent gave me away, eh, Thniper?

Ich bin eigentlich Amerikaner, aber ich studierte Deutsch an der Uni (2 Jahre, hier in Kalifornien). Et je parle un peu du francais, un poco de espanol, e un po d'italiano. Ma non parlo niente bene!
I'm starting to think I won't sleep at all tonight!

Schoneboom, forget sleep. It's over-rated. Besides, you're in a GWX sub now... you can sleep when you're dead.

Oh, and before you set out of that first patrol, remember that there's a reason why they call Kpt. Lehmann "Darth"

Schöneboom's posts are most entertaining, with those German words like:

junge, junge!
Naja!

looking forward to more posts, Schoneboom! Tschuss!
