Default The AI in SH4 explained (sorta)

The AI in SH4 is not that much different then in SH3. So i thought maybe id bring some attention to this post:

(GWX's Uber AI demystified)
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=104377

Read the entire post, and scan through about the first 8 pages in that thread, theres alot of good info there that can be applied to Sh4.

The only difference in AI between SH3 and SH4 is the implenetation of thermal layers being built into the game, rather then by mod. What you really need to know about thermal layers in SH4 is that it reduces the strength of the signal that the AI receives, it does not eliminate it completely. So even while deep, you still need to be quiet, and watch your aspect.
