Default Noobie to mods, would like water to look more shinny.

I am not new to SH3 or SH4, but I'm a noob when it comes to mods. As I understand mods is that there improvements to the game made by people looking for better water textures, kind of where the Dev's left off. I have been playing SH4 for about a month now and have noticed that the water doesn't look like SH3's glossy water look, the water looks to plain and dull.

I don't want something thats going to require lots of work or require that I can't use max time compression, I just want to install a mod to make the water look more realistic. Can someone tell me what I need to do in order to use/install a mod that might enhance the look of the water and maybe some other stuff to? Thanks

Try PE3, which is a wonderful environment mod http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=133365

Or some prefer Environment 4.4
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=135989

Both are great additions, which ever you choose.

Being new to mods say I wanted to remove the mod, how would I do that? Also what would happen if I went faster than 2048 X compressed time while playing? Would it mess up the install of the game, sometimes I don't pay attention when using compressed time. I want to know these things before trying them.
