Add On For Tench / Balao

Stock goes only up to Gato Class does it not? Is there an add on that does go as high for the Tench / Balao classes? I'm just picky about historical accuracy .

Pretty sure stock goes up to the Balao.

IIRC FotRSU adds the Tench.

Have not played stock game in ages but 99 percent sure Balao is in there, would be a huge omission for them not to include it. FOTRS and TMO mods include Tench Class.

Historical accuracy matters to me (and I believe most subsimmers) as well. UBI really gave little care to historical accuracy in SH 4 tbh but mods have corrected this for most part.

Ok, why? Tench isn't in the stock game and I'm not aware of any mods offering it before 1945, late 1944 at earliest.

others as well as i have posted in other threads about the dangers (CTD) of accepting a boat-upgrade before the boat is officially available. this is not a new issue. here is one as an example.

but hey, it's a free country, you don't have to believe me, go ahead and accept the Tench upgrade in 1944 (or a Balao upgrade in late 1942/early 1943) and see how far you get.

You don't have to be condescending, my interest is in fixing potential issues and the technical reasons behind them.
