With all respects to the community I'm glad to propose Seaplane cruiser HSwMS Gotland of excellent SOM Group from famous mod "Soviet Waterway" (SH4) which was converted for Silent Hunter 3.
![]() Based on SOM Group model for SH4. Credits and thanks to Vaa for the original model of the ship, GWSW_02 guns library and ship_planes_USM mod. Also credits and thanks to The Frog, Isinchievici and Buc-bgpatrascu for USN guns library. Special thanks for Mariman (SOM Group) for kind permission to release the converted ships from Soviet Watermay mod for Silent Hunter 3 and to Poul for his kind help with contacts with the excellent SOM Group. Thanks also to skwas for silent 3ditor, a usefull tool! d\l link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/pxhov9...v1.01.zip/file Best regards, Stefan Last edited by Stefan Thimme; 05-26-18 at 04:38 PM. |

You're fully right. I'm working to create some campaign files for this unit and "meeting" between BB Bismark and CL Gotland will be included.

Yes, with GWX 3.0 it working fine, I tested it. But it's not very good that in the stock version we have CTD. It would be better if the new ships were created for the stock SH3, so that we could add them later in any mod. But in any case, thanks for this ship!

Hello Stefan Thimme, i had the same problem as Anvar1061had. I made a SingleMission for testing the Goland. My mistake was - i activatet the option "Docked Ship" in the MissionEditor. It takes some time until i realised this mistake. And both of your Gotland version are running fine now, with rotating screws and funnel smoke. It was simply my mistake. Greetings rowi58 |
