New to SH5- Need guidance

I have been playing SH3 for years and so far have found nothing out there to better it, I bought SH5 as soon as it came out but never really got into it as I hated having to move around the sub, found it difficult to learn (perhaps its my age) and went back to SH3.

Well I have left it a few years so hope you modders have been busy and created a much better game... so

Are there any shortcut mods so you can go to any station like SH3, I tried the training mission and found myself on the deck on my own with no crew, couldn't get the gun mounted, another time I had crew on deck but couldn't dive as I couldnt clear the deck, ahhhhhh sorry for the frustration and am sure people will tell me to keep on trying but if there's a great mod to improve the game then I'm straight there and hopefully I can start to play it

Sometimes, even what appears to be relatively calm seas can stop you getting into the Deck gun position or locks Gun into 1 position this also sends crew below decks

Alt Tabbing in game can also screw up the crew . Leaving them on deck submerged or below deck on surface, avoid if at all possible

For an easier usage of the deck gun in TWoS, load the optional mod that makes it harder to have the deck awash (don't know the exact name, but you'll find it quickly.) Except in very rough seas where realistically you cannot use the deck gun anyway, in medium or low sea state the deck gun will be easier to use without the crew leaving it every minute.
