I thought of that already. The only thing ubiplay does is download it and automatically installs without asking anything. So is there a cfg file I can change this in or am I going to have to just wait til I can manually install off my disc when I finally find it in my storage?

Let me know if this works for you. If not I can upload the entire German Speech folder from my game.... C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\data\Sound\Speech so that you can download and replace the English version.

Make a new installation, don´t forget to delate the sh5 folder in documents folder
In the uplay download choose english as language and mark german as additional language
Start the game and exit, just copy all the archives inside C:/Program Files (x86)/Ubisoft/Ubisoft Game Launcher/games/Silent Hunter 5/Data/LngGameData/Voices/German/Data/Sound/Speech
Go inside C:/Program Files (x86)/Ubisoft/Ubisoft Game Launcher/games/Silent Hunter 5/Data/Sound/Speech, delate or save all the english voices archives and copy the german voices, and if you want you can hear the intro in german, use the same patch but with movies instead of voices, and copy

If Uplay install your sh5 game in the x86 folder you´ll have some problems installing TDW generic patcher
Windows 10 and uplay SHV download
When you open "GenericPatcher.cfg" you must edit the text like this

ClientAreaWidth=1184
ClientAreaHeight=765
LanguagePackInUse=C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Silent Hunter 5\TDW_GenericPatcher_v_1_0_168_0\LanguagePacks\Eng lish
CameraManager.act=C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Silent Hunter 5
EnvSim.act=C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Silent Hunter 5
kernel.dll=C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Silent Hunter 5
sh5.exe=C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Silent Hunter 5
SHCollisions.act=C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Silent Hunter 5
SHSim.act=C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Silent Hunter 5
SHSound.act=C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Silent Hunter 5
SH_NClient.dll=C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Silent Hunter 5
SimData.dll=C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Silent Hunter 5

After that, just continue with the instructions to install it

Hi EG
Are you not given the option where you can install the download to?

Of course, when you download the uplay launchergame you can install it where you want, but windows 10 it's a little "special" i have install other games in diferents folders and have some problems with load and latency, so with win10 it's more stable to install in the default folder (programs x86)
I don't see any problem with that if you active properly the TDW generic patcher, unless vdr1981 say another thing

The Programs x86 file folder is a Directory not a Folder that has restriction to it.
That is why it is not advisable to install to it.
The Ubisoft game launcher will want to default to it because it is a 32 bit program.

Hey guys. Thanks for all the replies. I couldn't take it anymore ando went digging in my storage. Found my CD so I was able to install and have the option to choose my voices. When you open ubisoft game launcher and you click on sh5. It say anything but "download" when you click on it, it just starts downloading. It doesn't give you the option to changer your voices to German or English or where you want it. It just installs it on its own. Thats the problem I was running into. But the physical CD install is as normal. But I'm all good now. Got WoS I stalled and I'm feeling out some Real Navigation for the first time. Good hunting folks.
