How do you make your SH3 immersive?

I may be reposting an already popular topic, but the question is as it stands. What mods, or settings, or custom mods do you use to make SH3 feel "there". I've tried almost all of them, playing around with settings, ajusting sh3.dll file, deleting sections or things in some mods that i don't like, and just basically trying to overhaul it to be the "perfect sim". Then I end up deleting all my works, deleting my voice activiation and commands I spent so much time in, and reinstalling sh3 several times.
