can't get captain diary - game crash

I'm playing the first campaign, I'v probably reached the requested 50 tons of sinked boats to end the first mission but ... how to know? every time I try to acces the captain diary tha game hangs on ... any issue?
Meanwhile I'm downloading SH3 hoping in a better stability...

No mods, but resolved returning to base, I had to re-select the mission and now it's working. Now I've sunked over than 50 tons of boats but the mission is not .. complete... bah lets see some forum...
