Default Longest Sinking time?

So this Carrier, my first in SH5 , wont sink. I've gotten "credit" for the ship, but just don't feel right about leaving the scene with her still burning and not see her sink. So I've put a coup de grace Torp into her about 4 hours after hitting her with with my two initial Torps. I've used about half my deck gun ammo.....

Its been 24 hours...she still shows no signs (besides being engulfed in flames) of going down. No list..no sitting lower in the water.

Whats the longest you've waited for a ship to sink?

Working on my last career before trying out steel viking. The ship was gone when I reloaded...which is pretty standard.

An outdated modlist I would say and you're also missing a few essential mods IMO but agin, there's nothing suspicious regarding your problem. Actually, it's nothing unusual with strange SH5 sinking mechanics.
Anyway, do not update your modlist until you decide to restart your campaign...

yeah...had to put down SH5 for a year ..year and half. Got married (wife still doesn't know I have strange obsession with WW2 uboat sims ).

Anyway the list is probably a year pre any of the mega mods coming out and yes I need to give them a try. I am just so frustrated with starting over and over and over again with new mods...ect. Hopefully once I do the mega mod thing this starting over business will end.

Anyway...ship was gone....not really losing sleep over it. Just interesting in that if they don't sink within an hour or two they seem to never sink without exiting and reloading a save.
