Default Medium fog bug - solved?

Sorry if this has been answered already, but does anyone know if there is a mod that fixes the frequent and lengthy periods of medium fog? It is very difficult to always hunt in medium fog, because visibility is constantly at something like 500 meters. I see that sober has a fog mod, but I have not tried it yet. I use Dynamic Environment, but it does not seem to remove the fog bug. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I've "solved" it for TWoS Megamod by rotating medium and light fog settings in fogparameters.cfg followed by appropriate changes in menu.txt file and I must say that I'm very pleased with the result. Now, it is rather "light fog bug" then "medium fog bug" but because I use my own light fog settings for the megamod, with detection range something like 10-15 km, it's not a big deal really... This is the only and the best solution you'll find...

Have you perhaps released your work as a mod that can be downloaded separately from TWoS? Or could you help me out with modifying the files so they match your efforts?

I'd like to know too, because I tried to use sober's v30 fog, but its light fog was wicked with visibility at less than 200 m. He said it's because I don't use all his mods, but didn't expand on that, so I'm left with reverting back to an old version for the time being.

I returned after spending couple of years away from this forum and game. I remember how fog in Dynamic Environment was driving me crazy, other than this "issue" its very nice mod. I even talk to creator about reduce amount of foggy days/nights but it randomly generated and he could not crack it.
So first thing I did couple of days ago - find the location and edited config for less thick fog screen. It still there but making it about twice less thick did the trick. I simply enjoy game right now.
I've shaped it into JSGME easy install format. But I don't remember how to post MODs here in download section. LOL if someone will remind me - Ill make it available for everyone ASAP.
