best mod soup for steam game

hi everyone!

One quick question here. I want to give sh5 another chance, but I don't want to do it without a recommendation of a mod soup compatible with the steam engine because I want the game to work as best as possible. Because if not, certainly I will keep it again under my bed , just as I did couple months ago because I hated that anything worked as it was supposed to do.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Is 'Steam' your only option?

The Dvd is worth investing in as you will have more options and you will be able to use TDW's Generic File Patcher.

Well, actually, I have the steam version, but dumped it because despite al the mods I used, game was awful.

Is it worth it to spend 10 bucks more to get the DVD? I mean, will it work as I expect?

Thanks!

thanks for the advice. I think I will have to wait because in my country, it will be very difficult to find it. Pretty soon I will be living in Canada, and amazon can ship it there!

wait for me!

I know we often berate the ‘Steam version’ as the poor relation of SH5 but for some it is not an option due to their geographical position.

Their ought to be a dedicated ‘Thread For Steam Users' where lists of suitable mods can be seen.

Current ‘Steam’ users could list their mod lists and give advice and suggest mods that will give others the chance to evaluate options that were not previously available.

This would also bring attention to how big 'Steam' is on 'Subsim'

I would certainly be happy to include this in my:

This is a question that I have seen numerous times on the ‘Forum’ but rarely do I see the questions being answered in a satisfactory way.

Maybe now is a good time to do something about it!
