I feel bad for those guys on the Sierra Madre. Especially, if it turns out that their hardships are for nothing.

A very well constructed webpage that brings the article to life.

China has the money, men, and material to expand and dominate the region. I would predict a lot more hostile incidents in the near future as their blue water fleet increases in size and capability. Just what aircraft carriers are for. Especially with all the natural resources at stake, China will want to control them.
