Default Type VIIb -battery recharging propulsion fix(speed drop)

This will add realistic speed drop with type VIIb submarine while battery recharging propulsion is active.

I was playing little bit with goblin editor and i noticed, in the sub's .sim file, one significant difference between Type VIIb and other playable submarines. It was options called "is diesel electric" which was in default state "Yes". Setting this to "No" approved my suspicions that probably this mistake is responsible for non present speed drop while battery recharging propulsion is active!

You are welcome to try and test this mod...Cheers!
JSGME ready ,install after TDW New UI's or any other sub flotation mod...

That's a good find I'll look on it later..
Thank you

What .sim file did you use for edit? I ask because I use my own edition based on many mods (mostly TDW and Stoianm files)..

Привет Volodya! It's "NSS_Uboat7b.sim"... Maybe it's better to implement this fix in the TDW new UI, for shorter modlist...

Здраво Vecko
I guess, a little misunderstanding here.. I didn't ask what exactly file.. I do know it.. I meant - stock .sim or from any mod?

EDIT: e.g. my latest file you can find in the Sjizzle's modlist - Stoianm pitch&roll + Real Battery Lifetime + U-boats.cfgs (edited+modified for engine ratio patches)..

Aha, i see... Hm, i'm not sure anymore. It's not default , that's for sure. I think it's from Stoianm P&R+ cfg... Yes, it's from Stoianm's mod, i liked his flotation more than from UI's.

Okay, so, is your file from my revision (contains in Sjizzle's modlist) or from original Stoianm's mod?
I didn't looked at the files yet, that's why I ask

The mod that you said isn't original.. it's my mod/revision.. its link is in the Sjizzle's modlist thread.. Fifi use not latest revision..and there is historical data based on Gap's data from the sources..

So what are you trying to say? Do you wont me to take some other NSS_Uboat7b.sim, from some other mod?

Basically what i have change in the NSS_Uboat7b.sim file is:

Draugh - from 4.7 to 4.9 (this prevents sub to jump to much out of water)
Max speed - from 17.9 to 17.2 (in this way we have max speed of 17.7~17.9 in the sim during hight TC)
Max speed(underwater e propulsion) - from 8 to 7.7
underwater range - set to 90 nm at 4 knots
and main change is "is diesel electric" - set to NO

Do you have some proposal? All in all, what is important is that you guys now know what is the solution for speed drop problem so you can implement it in your larger mods...
