Steam Screwup - Can I save campaigns?

Well, the steam install of SHIII decided to just stop working. After nothing but error-free running, it no longer can make it through the load screen for the game. (Can't even make the main menu)

I'm assuming I have to uninstall - but before I do that, I want to save some time and ask the wise and wondrous members here if I can save then reinstall my campaigns when I reinstall the game.
