Default As my head smacks into my desk!

Sneaking into Scapa..the tension building. I see a patrol\torpedo boat...decide it's small fry I want a big fish (how ironic I did a typo saying bug fish). Anyway I see a juicy warship. It's now perfectly aligned. I fire of two torps, then start to plot a route out whilst tracking the warship.

The tensions building, the excitement mounts. The first torp is so close..getting closer...closer...closer..it's a...ctd!

Oh why is life so cruel!

Anyway had worse I've been in the midst of an unescorted convoy. Six of them sunk and going to town with the deck gun (to excited to think of saving just in case), two more sunk...then CTD!

Anyway back to the previous save it is.

I still love this game. No other genres come close for moments of calm then moments of tension then air punching delight..also mixed in with fist punching screens and head smacking desks.

Didn't you know...? The CTD is built in for that extra added push over the edge
Love that title by the way. Hope you didn't damage the desk too bad

Are you using mods?? Because some mods aren't compatible with others. It's really difficult to make a good and stable mod list. Try this for starters

My mod soup is working so far and I have nothing thats known as a conflict. Followed Sobers list.

Just tried it again same thing torp hit ship starts to explode and CTD. Again like a food I didn't save.

Anyone know of an issue with the Scapa flow mission in OH 1.7?

I haven't had CTD in a long time (knock on wood). My mod soup seems to be in order and working right. CTD in this game are a pain, save points help out with this a lot.

It's been suggested it's a memory/video card issue.
What video card/memory have you got?

You could try it without your environmental mods and turn the graphic settings right down.
