Default Oooops -

having spend a quarter of my life around here, I'm now 20.000 posts beneath the sea, and I have not even noticed when breaking the mark.

Free beer for all!

21 Leopard 2 salute!

Unfortunately due to budget cuts we could only find one Leopard 2, so we'll get it to fire 21 shots!

Congrats!

I'm just glad the forum doesn't track the posting of words in addition to entire posts.

Oh no, that could last... The ready-rack holds only 15 rounds, after which they must stop for 5 minutes to reload cartridges from the hull's stowaway. Maybe the politicians in the British MoD planned to cut the salute down to 15 shots anyway...

The British MOD would have four guys sitting in a wheelbarrow shouting BANG fifteen times

And indeed, Happy Birthday, another one whose day falls on the dreaded 'Singles taunting day'.

The low voice from the abyss of the Mariana Trench - from deep down below, where the 60K posters are hiding in the dark, waiting for unsuspecting prey...

Nice. And now will you guys and girls please all step back into the line and repeat your praise a second time for me? When thinking of it, I see it is possible that my 20000th posting was made yesterday - which happened to have been my birthday.

And bring a second set of presents, too.

Congratulations, Sky. You are both a scholar and a gentleman. We agree some and disagree some. However, you always appear the epitome of an individual deserving of respect. I would hope, on my best day, to be a small fraction of what you are. Thank you for being a member of this community.
