Default Do you finish a patrol in one sitting?

It usually takes me many real time hours to complete a patrol using realistic setting, so I often save and reload the next day. This way my patrols last for many days. Do you do this too or do you usually finish a patrol without stopping?

LOL, love it, same here.

There have been the odd occation where I have left SH5 running all night and quite often leave the crew to manage while a do shopping, I just submerge and go out for a few hours.

Usually I don't like to let the game play by itself and go away from the computer, because the game doesn't pause when I spot an enemy. Normally use time compression a lot until finding an enemy.

Ive left port, found a huge convoy a week later, spent all my ordinance sinking like 100k tons, and was home before 2 weeks had passed. I recall having 2 patrols in the books in one sitting with that kind of luck.

Other times, I'm lucky to hear a single ship, let alone have adequate weather to engage it, over a month long period.

Nope,

Sober's answer goes for me as well.

Maybe because I'm playing around with mods trying to find out about mod incompatibility and the reasons to it plus activation orders and so on...
