Aircraft in the first picture looks to be in the same condition as a static model at some air museums.

if we would have gone to war in 79' those tomcats would have been a match..but this is 2011. I'm surprised those airframes are still in one piece. Secondly, Im surprised they haven't reverse engineered new tomcats.

F=14 is a very complex airframe AFAIC.

Oh god no, the missiles are probably taped to the launch rail, but since the Iranians know that they'll never need to use them, they don't need to worry.
