Pickin' and Grinnin'

It's 0200 hours where I'm at, and I just got home from a fun jam! We got invited to join in an acoustic show, and had a great time. We were way down the list of scheduled players (as in last), so we got there at eight and did't play until after ten. We played three songs and then sat for another hour-and-a-half before we played another three. But it was musicians playing for musicians, and there were some good ones there. And a couple of bad ones, but we won't go into that.

Anyway, Charles's son Dorian recorded the first three on his iPhone, and they were better than I thought while we were playing them. The second set was even better, but he hasn't put it up yet. In fact, I don't know if he even recorded those. I hope so.

So here's three acoustic songs by Monkey Rum, complete with four-part harmony.

I just got home from work as well and now I have something to do! Thanks, Steve!

I'll have to play the music very quietly, though. Everyone here is asleep.

Unfortunately that's what happens when you play in a bar and the guy recording you is in the middle of the crowd.
