Default Load Out Sucks SH5

Hello Sea Captains, I need some help on this, I get really frustrated taking my crew out to battle just to be short on Deck Gun Ammo, the 120 AP/100 HE is okay but too little when you really need more to finish off the ship that’s dead in the water just to be left hanging dry out of ammo.

I need to know how I can increase this load out number to 320 AP/250 HE, what decoder program do I need to view those .ZON, .SIM, and other files in my Library folders?

Thanks on any help…

I can't help, but I thought I'd mention how much it must have 'sucked' for the real guys. That's how much ammo the real Type VIIs carried, and for the most part it was all HE.

If I read one more thread with "sucks" in the title...

You might wanna try S3D. Not fully compatible with SH5 last time I checked, but should let you do what's needed in this case.

It's compatible enough to edit the ammo amounts in the sim file

VII Boats were small compared with other subs. so they carried less deck gun ammo and torpedos , no more than 14 is a small number for a sub compared with others like the 22 of a IX-B/C boats. (if they could be used in SH5, of course )

Bigger boats also can carry more deck gun ammo. i read a book about british submarines and when are expected more gun action, they put all ammo as they can in the boat in every available place, increasing the total .
